SECURITY & CONNECTIVITY / DBW ELECTRICAL

Wi-Fi for offices & outbuildings.

DBW Electrical helps plan Wi-Fi provision for offices, garden rooms and outbuildings, with access-point locations and connections considered around the way you use the space.

Hertfordshire · Cambridgeshire · London & surrounding areas

THE RIGHT SCOPE FOR YOUR PROPERTY

What DBW provides

Weak coverage in a meeting room or a garden office can have several causes. Building materials, distance, the position of the router and the connection back to the main network all matter. We discuss the affected areas and the existing setup before proposing equipment or cabling, so the project addresses the local network requirements rather than relying on a promised speed increase.

Office coverage

Access-point positions considered around desks, meeting rooms, walls and the devices in use. Tell us about video calls, shared spaces and areas where the connection drops.

Garden rooms and detached buildings

The route back to the main network assessed alongside distance and site conditions. A suitable wired connection or another agreed link can then support Wi-Fi within the separate building.

Power and data coordination

Access-point power, data cabling and installation positions planned together. Guest-network or specialist business configuration requirements are clarified with your IT contact.

OUR EXPERIENCE & APPROACH

A practical installation approach

DBW brings together electrical supplies, cabling and specialist installations through one point of contact. Our published portfolio shows completed CCTV, access control and equipment-supply projects. For Wi-Fi work, we apply that coordination to the agreed access-point locations, power and network connections, with site-specific coverage checks discussed in the scope.

YOUR QUESTIONS

Service FAQs

Can you get Wi-Fi into a garden office?

We can assess the building and the connection back to your main network. Distance, obstacles and cable access determine the most suitable proposal.

Will another access point fix slow broadband?

It can help local coverage, but it cannot improve the internet service entering the property. We distinguish a coverage issue from an internet-service limitation during planning.

Can you provide staff and guest networks?

Separate networks can be discussed where supported by the proposed equipment. The required configuration, administration and involvement of your IT provider are agreed in the scope.
