SECURITY & CONNECTIVITY / DBW ELECTRICAL

CCTV designed around your premises.

DBW Electrical plans and installs CCTV for businesses and homes, with camera positions, cabling and recording arrangements based on the areas you need to see.

Hertfordshire · Cambridgeshire · London & surrounding areas

THE RIGHT SCOPE FOR YOUR PROPERTY

What DBW provides

A useful CCTV proposal starts with the purpose of each view: an entrance, a counter, a delivery area or another agreed location. We discuss the premises, lighting conditions, recording needs and who will use the system. That helps establish the camera layout and a practical route for cabling before equipment is selected.

Camera coverage

Views planned around the entrances and areas you identify, taking account of obstructions, lighting and the detail you need to see.

Cabling and recording

Camera connections and recording equipment positioned around access, available network infrastructure and the agreed storage requirements.

Handover for everyday use

An explanation of the installed system and agreed viewing arrangements. Remote viewing can be discussed subject to equipment compatibility and the site's internet connection.

OUR EXPERIENCE & APPROACH

CCTV installation for Rochester Pharmacy

DBW completed a CCTV installation for Rochester Pharmacy, supporting security and day-to-day visibility across the premises. The project is included in our portfolio. For your site, we begin with its own layout and viewing requirements rather than assuming the same camera arrangement will suit every building.

Plan how the footage will be used

Alongside the installation, consider who can view recordings, how long they are needed and how people will be informed about the cameras. The organisation operating the system is responsible for its use. The ICO's CCTV guidance is a useful starting point for those decisions.

YOUR QUESTIONS

Service FAQs

Can I view the cameras on my phone?

Remote viewing can be included where the proposed system and internet connection support it. We confirm the arrangements and any relevant service requirements in the scope.

Can you add cameras to an existing system?

We can assess the existing recorder, cameras, cabling and available capacity before confirming compatibility and upgrade options.

How long will recordings be kept?

Retention depends on your justified requirements, storage capacity and system settings. We discuss these during planning rather than applying the same period to every site.
